I spent time...finally....working in the veggie garden. Our slow, cold spring is slowing things down this year. Lots of cold storms passing through. We get great weather for about 4 days, then a cold front comes through with cold days and freezing nights.
The greenhouse plants are very happily growing!
Our pumpkin hill is planted.
My herb garden. See all those rocks? I didn't have to buy a single one! We live in the Rocky Mountains you know!
Onions and Garlic
The first potato plants are peeking through the soil.
I did get some seeds in the ground for my herb garden. Some more onions and a few cucumber plants and zucchinis...they are pretty tough, so they should do o.k. Boy, I can't wait to get the tomato plants off my kitchen counter! I'm sure they have enjoyed their time in a warm house, but they are probably a bit tired of seeing me slice up tomatoes on a cutting board next to them.
Please send some warm weather north...please! Could we have some of that elusive Global Warming until September? My garden would appreciate it!
