Well as done as a home ever can be. And as long as you don't count landscaping :-) The evolution of our yard will be a whole nother topic! Is nother a real word? Because as I type I see this little red squiggly line under the word. But how many people have ever said "a whole nother"? I've never heard anyone say a whole another...hmm...one of those American English oddities. Teaching 1st grade...I hear a whole another of them every day too! ha ha!
So back on track here...for those of you that were following the building of our home last summer and into the fall...here is my Virtual House Warming:
CC's room. She likes her space neat...always has. It was hard for her to share a room with her sister.
The bonus room...guest room...shoo kids of to room...Good idea honey!
I love eating breakfast and looking out at our back forest!
The Library. Watercloset? Has its own window and can of Febreze :-) tee hee!
Guy art on the walls and on the toilet tank. Creel camouflages all the girl stuff!
The magazine basket...very conservative and sorry, no Victoria Secret catalogs.
The man space. Love how it looks like a barn. Chickens and fruit trees will be on the left side. Veggie garden will be behind the shop. Evolution of the garden will be my next focus for my blog.
Entry...your first welcome is to see the great bench and jacket hooks. The wood used to make them is reclaimed wood. The bench is made of tongue and groove wood from the old officer's club at Fort Sherman in CDA.
The girls bathroom.
Looks like we are moved in...bikes in the driveway...car in the garage. We still need to paint the house...but spring is coming early this year. Sorry groundhog, but your forecast doesn't work for us this year!
Kitchen is a little crazy today from the housewarming. But you can see Mip's rug matches this kitchen perfectly too!
You can just see the Ikea stool on the left. Can't wait for summer to paint them.
Laundry room is finally finished. Love the huge cupboard and my honey put up a rack to hang clothes and a counter for folding!
Living room is very cozy! It seemed so big at first...but as you can see, we know how to fill a room!
Here's the view from the entry. I love the windows and all the light.
Our master bathroom. It's big! But we don't usually have to be in it together because our schedules are opposite right now.
I think our bedroom gets bigger with each house we've lived in, but this one by far, is my favorite.
My workspace which has a view of the future vegetable garden.
One of my favorite places in the house....the huge jetted tub.
One of my other favorite spots: the kitchen pantry!
And yes, our drama queen is back into her pink phase! But on the up side...her room really does look this neat again! (just don't look into her closet!) tee hee
Hope you enjoyed our virtual tour. We loved sharing our hard work and our home away from it all!
Next chapter in our lives: the garden!
